The quality of being findable: capability of being found. In recent use especially with reference to the use of online search engines.
SEO
SEO stands for search engine optimization, which is the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through organic search engine results.
Traffic analysis
Traffic analysis is the process of intercepting and examining messages in order to deduce information from patterns in communication.
Black Hat SEO
Black hat SEO is a disaproved practice that increases a pages ranking in a search result page. They are against search engines terms of service and can result in the site being banned from the search engine. White Hat SEO
These are SEO tactics that are inline with the search engines terms and conditions. Most of the major search engines give examples of what white hat SEO tactics may include - such as: Good descrptive content, keyword-rich meta tags, fast loading times and more.

OpenSearch is a collection of technologies that allow the publishing of search results in a format for sydication and aggregation.
Microformats
Microformats are small patterns of HTML to represent commonly published things like people, events, blog posts, reviews and tags in web pages.
